The Deline Self-Government Ratification Committee has prepared and published the Preliminary Voters List and other important voting information. This information can be accessed on the internet.

The Deline Self-Government Agreement has been finalized and will soon be put to a vote. It is very important that everyone who is eligible to vote understands the importance of voting and has the information that they need to decide how they want to vote. The Ratification Committee is independent and its role is to manage the vote. The committee is made up of 2 representatives of the First Nation, 2 representatives of the Deline Land Corporation, 2 representatives of Canada and 2 representatives of the GNWT. This committee is now working to make sure the list of voters is complete and correct and that all voters are aware they are on the list. If you think your name or another name should be added or removed from the Voter’s List, please contact the Ratification Committee. An appeal must be made in writing to the committee no later than January 10, 2014. The official Voter’s List will be posted on January 23rd 2014.
