The Deline Self Government Team has begun work on planning self government implementation, including planning for transition measures within existing organizations (DFN, DLC, and CCD) which must be done to ensure there is a smooth transition to self government.
 
Between October 2014 and March 2015, workshops in Deline will be held to present plans for how the Lands Department, and the Beneficiaries Board will each function.
 
The purpose of the workshops are to present information and ask for feedback from Deline members. Information sessions will also be held in Yellowknife. Confirmed workshop dates will be posted on the OurDeline.ca page and the Our Deline  Facebook page.
 
Deline members outside of Yellowknife will be provided with information and have opportunities to share their views.
