The Deline Self-Government Team developed an information package to support the members of the NWT Legislative Assembly as they consider the territorial legislation needed to enact the Deline Final Self-Government Agreement. In addition to copies of the final agreement and related agreement, all MLAs were provided with:
- an MLA information booklet,
- a factsheet providing an overview of the agreement,
- a diagram of the new Deline Got’ine Government,
- a factsheet on financing of self-government, and
- a factsheet providing answers to questions MLAs may have.
The Deline team will also be providing federal members of Parliament with a similar package when they consider the federal legislation this spring.
