Sawmill Bay Project Job Opportunities

1 Head Cook

Be able to make menu for the duration of the Project and shop efficiently for supplies. Ability to work within budget.

 

2 Cook Helpers

To assist the Head Cook in preparation and delivery of breakfast, lunch and supper and morning and afternoon snacks per day.

 

2 Camp Maintenance Attendants

Set-up and take down of camp, maintain camp area and assist cooks with help. Be able to work independently. Work closely with the cooks for daily check-ins of all camp activities.

 

3 Brush Cutters

Cutting brush, trees, etc., pile up and remove in an efficient and clean manner for construction

 

3 Hazmat Workers

Work with hazardous materials by removing, packaging, and disposing of harmful substances safely and properly

 

1 Skid Steer Operator

Must have Skid Steer Operator Course ticket. Must be able to work independently and efficiently

 

4 Bear Monitors

Must have valid PAL (Firearms) License and First Aid Certificate. Each individual monitor will monitor the camp and surrounding areas, as well as day trips out of camp. Must provide your own firearms.

 

The Sawmill Bay Project will be held at Terra Mine Fly-out on August 9 until September 1, 2024.
