The Sahtu Dene Council is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Part time language Coordinator located ın Délı̨nę. This position will be 3-year part time and under the direction of Executive director and Regional Indigenous Language Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operation related to this position. The language coordinator will report monthly to the RILC throughout the year.
The language coordinator is responsible for developing and providing Language Program to needs of Early Childhood Center in Délįnę. This project is to create language learning resource to support an Early Childhood Language Immersion Program as well as resources to help families engage with Dene Kǝdǝ́ at home.
