The Délı̨nę Got’ı̨nę Government is seeking a respected Elder to serve as a Community Support Liaison – In-House Elder within the Education Department. This position provides mentorship and guidance to Dene Kǝdǝ́ Language Instructors, helping strengthen their teaching through the sharing of language, culture, and traditional knowledge.
The In-House Elder will report to the School Principal and provide ongoing cultural support to language instructors, as well as to non-local staff, offering ideas and insights on how to embed Dene culture and local practices into classroom learning.
